Question: Can you use an Oregon home school if you live in Washington?
I am Home Schooling my child and I just need to know if i could use connections acadamy which is based out of oregon and we live in Vancouver, Wa. Anyone know the laws, please let me know, i'm new to this Homeschooling idea. Thanks
Answer: Nope. Connections Academies are public schools, so since you do not pay taxes to that state, or to that school district, your children cannot attend.
You can, however, use WAVA:

It's similar to C.A. but uses the K12 curriculum instead of Calvert. I've used K12 for five years as an independent HS'er and LOVE it.
