Question: Where can I buy Homeschooling supplies in New Brunswick, Canada?
I want to homeschool my son next year and I would like to find a place where I can get good products. He will be in grade 3. Thanks in advance if anyone can help!
Answer: Are Canadians not allowed to purchase materials through sources (online and catalog) like we in the US do? I have purchased material from a local school supply store here and it can be even more expensieve than internet/catalog.

Question: Homeschooling supply list?
I am in a Homeschooling program where they send me the books etc...so what are some supplies that you get for you children or yourself if they are homeschooled. thanks.. p.s. my first year...REALLY EXCITED. ive never been more excited for school.
Answer: Even though we were homeschooled, my mom always made sure we went shopping for 'back to school' supplies. We were allowed to pick out the pencils, pens, and notebooks of our choice. When we were younger we also received a new box of crayons, glue sticks, construction paper, and stickers for a job well done. Obviously as we got older the fun things like crayons turned into calculators, rulers, graph, paper, and book covers. I always found it helpful to have a piece of scratch paper with me for every subject that I could jot thought down on, do practice work, and simply doodle to keep my sanity so we always had plenty of loose notebook paper on hand.
The most important thing is to stay organized! Everything has a place and everything in its place. Get some sort of file folder or storage cart with drawers to keep things separated. Have a different colored notebook for every subject with a matching folder to keep completed work in.
Then add pens, pencils, erasers (pink pearls are the best!), a calculator, a dictionary and thesaurus, A good internet connection is helpful for research, a library card, highlighters, and a good snack! I prefer apples and granola bars when I study. And chia tea. And a classical music CD. I would start with Mozart symphonies. =) Good luck with your first year, I'm sure it will be fabulous!
