Question: Does anyone have any used Homeschool Curriculum designed for the Classical Homeschool approach?
I have a future first grader and I am looking for curriculum materials for him geared toward the classical Homeschooling approach. I've read through the Well Trained Mind and I know what Susan Wise Bauer recommends and where I can buy materials commercially, but I was wondering if anyone had any they wouldn't mind parting with or selling. Please let me know. Also, if you have any good reading book ideas for the Ancients 5000 BC to AD 400, please let me know so I can add them to my list.
Answer: I just got this to teach Latin:
http://www.amazon.com/Minimus-Pupils-Book-Starting-Cambridge/dp/0521659604/ref=pd_bbs_3/002-3989274-5877633?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1173123466&sr=8-3
I got the companion CD, too, (amazon again) and a laminated quick study latin guide (Fry's computer store).
I really like the book and CD, and they're very well reveiwed on Amazon. look there for other materials, even if you buy them elsewhere the reviews are very helpful.
