Question: How would you react about this fact?

if you're a parent, what's your plan of action about this kind of teacher?

Answer: This teacher clearly favored Obama over McCain.
She really needs to be more aware of what she's doing.
She even said in the interview that she doesn't 'browbeat' anyone for their views, but in fact, she does. I don't think she should be fired, but she needs someone to explain to her about being neutral in those situations.

Question: What is the main reason parents decide to homeschool their kids?

Answer: I think if you are looking to nail down a main reason that parents choose to homeschool, you could phrase the decision something like:

The public school did not meet the needs of my child(ren).

Those needs are many and varied. As others above have said, safety, positive vs. negative social environment, academics, flexibility, health related concerns, bullying, etc.
