Question: How much would you charge to do the drawings in a coloring book?

The coloring book would be part of a monthly preschool Homeschool Curriculum. The drawings would be simple so that a 3 or 4 year old could do them. We're looking at 20 pages a month.

We would probably post this on guru or elance, but right now we're just trying to get a range of what people would charge, we're not soliciting bids.

Answer: I would say $200-400 per book.

Question: Can you tell me more about the TRISMS homeschool curriculum?

I had never heard of TRISMS until reading ketchupklf's recommendations.

We are using History Odyssey now (level 2 middle ages). TRIMS looks like it is laid out better and that it might be easier to check their progress.

Answer: Here is the website: http://www.trisms.com/InfoCenter/explanation.html

It is 'researched based'... basically they tell you what people and events to research and you go find the info! They include lists of other topics beyond the bare minimums 'required' as well so you and your children can chase the rabbits that interest *you*. They also lean heavy on Historical Fiction to put you 'in' the time period. So far we are loving it!

There is a great group that can tell you tons about it here too: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/trisms/

Hope that helps!
