Question: does anyone know the state laws for Arkansas about Homeschooling?

moving to Arkansas, need to know about Homeschooling or at least where to find info.

Answer: According to HSLDA.org:

Step 1: Establish and operate a home school

Step 2: File written notice of intent with the local superintendent by August 15 (for those starting in fall semester), December 15 (for those starting in spring semester), or 14 days prior to withdrawing child mid-semester from public school; re-file annually thereafter at beginning of school year

Step 3: Participate in same state-mandated norm-referenced tests given to public school students (in grades 3-9); no cost to parent unless alternate testing procedures are approved

Look pretty simple. Check out the HSLDA website for more.
