Classical home education is about learning the educational theory of the past. In history, classical education was the only type of education. Many great men and women, scientists, philosophers, writers, and artists in history received classical home education.

The trivium is the teaching model that seeks to tailor the classical home education curriculum subject to the child's cognitive development.

What is classical home education for Home Schooling?

Historically classical home education was implemented mainly by studying three core subjects of each of the trivium of classical education:

• grammar
• logic and
• rhetoric.

In history, Latin and Greek grammar was studied in the elementary years while logic was studied in the middle school years and rhetoric in the high school years.
