Question: help! I can NOT handle public school anymore!!!!?

I cant take another year with all of the drama of public school. I swear last year I think I was getting a stomach ulcer with all of the stress of school. I have anxiety and I cant handle it NO MORE!!!! and I'm pretty sure my VERY low self esteem doesn't help it much. The problem is my dad will NOT let me do homeschooling!!! Hes selfish!!! I've came home crying(and trust me it takes a heck of allot to make me cry) from all the stress of school. Can someone please help me on what to say to convince him into letting me do homeschooling oh and also I'm only 14 years old but does that mean I can home school myself if I can get some 8th grade Texas school books and they send me the curriculum.

Answer: Ask for help for your problems rather than specifically getting homeschooled. Homeschooling is only one solution to your problem; show that you are open to fixing your problems.

It's doubtful you'll be able to just buy gr. 8 books specifically for Texas. However, there is a virtual online program, but you have to be in specific areas http://www.k12.com/txva/. Not sure if you'd qualify.
