Kinesthetic Learning Style

Kinesthetic learning style is one of the hardest learning styles to teach, compared to visual learning style or auditory or verbal learning style. There are kinesthetic learning tools to help you teach children with kinesthetic learning style. There are also free information on kinesthetic learning style online that you can take advantage of. The three basic learning styles are visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles.

Kinesthetic Learning Style

People with Kinesthetic learning style learn best when they are actually doing it themselves. Many of the Kinesthetic learning tools are games that require you to perform something, not just listening or watching. Kinesthetic learning styles do not learn well using textbooks or listing to audio tapes.

Kinesthetic learning style tools

There are many kinesthetic learning tools and methods that you can use to help you teach children of kinesthetic learning style. You can buy Kinesthetic learning tools at children educational stores but you can also find them or make them at home cheaply if you are creative.

When teaching Kinesthetic learning styles, do as many projects with them as possible. Solve any problems on a large blackboard where they are put on the spot and have to solve problems. Use legos or alphabet tools where possible.

Severe case of Kinesthetic learning style

When just involving a Kinesthetic learning child in an activity or a project is not working, you may need to involve more of the child's body in the Kinesthetic learning game or tool. The more of the body the person with Kinesthetic learning style involves themselves in the activity, the easier the learning becomes for them. If you are not of the Kinesthetic learning style, you may not understand why it is so hard for them to grasp some simple concept. However, people with kinesthetic learning style are not stupid, their brain just takes in information in different forms and if you don't feed their brain with the right form of information, the brain would not absorb it.
