Auditory Learning Style

Auditory learning style is also called verbal learning style. People with auditory learning style or verbal learning style find it easy to learn by just listening. Auditory learning styles tend to be good at music. There are different structures of auditory learning. A combination of visual and auditory learning is often the most effect way to learn. Auditory learning is useful and you can get an auditory learning guide to help you practice learning by ears.

Many people with auditory style can repeat what they heard word by word. Sometimes, auditory learning style is considered a gift. Auditory learning styles learn well in lecture format, can work or study while listening to music or even watching TV. When you are teaching people with auditory learning styles, you don't need much visual aid or projects for them to do. In fact, they may think it's pointless to try to do an activity which kinesthetic learning styles will greatly benefit because they already understood it.

You need to talk to auditory learning styles as often as possible as well as giving them audio tapes to listen to. Oral tests may benefit them more then written tests as well.

Some people learn well by seeing and also by listening. These people are of both auditory learning style and visual learning style. Sometimes, words cannot describe everything so learning by listening can have handicap. In cases like this, auditory learning styles will also benefit from visual aids as would visual learning styles. You can also improve auditory learning styles' understanding by narrating or describing what's on the visual aids to them.
