Question: US online elementary school for kids living abroad?
We are living abroad and attending the American School there because we believe in the American curriculum. But what we don't like is the disciplinary system there, because there is none! We were wondering if there is a non-religious online elementary school available for children living abroad so we could homeschool and teach him not only the academics, but also the basic values, which they don't teach in school! Does anyone have any recommendations?
Answer: There is an on line secular home school program called K-12 for children k12.com. Also greatschools.net and internethomeschool.com I do not have experience with them, though. For literature I wholeheartedly recommend the Mosdos Press literature books. I think they are mosdospress.com. I used the Journeys 9th grade. They have books for through 9th grade.
