Homeschool Special Needs Curriculum
![]() |

Question: Okay homeschool parents - MATH curriculum choice... please?
Central Christian Academy is the accredited homeschool academy I've decided to go with, but we need special H-E-L-P(!!!!!!!!!!) with math. (She is going into 6th grade. She can catch on to things like long division and cancelling out when multiplying fractions, but still has to count-out 6 times 4.) Central Christian Academy prefers PACEs but will allow one of several other choices. I want to be certain to give her just the right math curriculum. PLEASE look at these non-ACE choices for math, and advise me which one you think would work best. I could really use another person's (or persons', for that matter!) perspective, especially if you have ANY experience with any of these! Thanks!

Answer: LifePacs are very similar to the Paces. We didn't like Saxon Math. My children love Switched on Schoolhouse for everything except Math. So I would go with Horizons. They are nice workbooks and well written.
