People with visual learning style tend to want to write things down to remember them. By writing things down, they are making it visual, easier for them to remember. Children with visual learning style may have problem listening. They can remember faces better than names. To teach children of visual learning style, you need many visual aids and tools such as maps or diagrams.

What is a visual learning environment?

A visual learning environment is one full of visual aids, charts, diagrams, maps, colors, highlighters, graphs, graphics, and other visual learning style tools. When listening to an audio tape or CD, visual style learners will want to draw diagrams that represent what they just heard in order to remember. This is a very powerful way to learn.
