Question: free preschool curriculum online?
I am Homeschooling my 4yr old, but I need some kind of structure to go by. I know there are some websites w/free curriculum, but I'd
like to know what some of the best are. I had twins, recently, and I've fallen behind on teaching her letters & numbers. I'd also like to
teach her Spanish. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Question: Buying Supplemental Homeschool Texts?
My son will be in first grade this year. I've been Homeschooling him for 3 years, always using my own materials. That's what I had planned on doing for this year, too, but my deadline is fast approaching (along with baby #3, due the end of Sept!). I have about $200 to spend on materials and I was thinking or ordering a few textbooks to cut back on my workload, but after a brief search, have found nothing that looks good. I don't want/can't afford a whole curriculum...maybe just a science book and/or a history book or whatever (anything would help at this point). Does anyone have any good recommendations? We are a Catholic Homeschooling family, but the books don't necessarily need to be Catholic-based.
Answer: Reading and math are the main focus in 1st grade. No real science or history.Spelling words are usually "sight words".You could try Ebay or a used web site/store for purchasing material. There is a lot of free worksheets you can get online too.
