Answer: When I was a high school registrar our school's counselors referred some students to the BYU Independent Study program. The total cost will depend on how many units you will be needing. Their high school courses are $124 per .5 unit.
You may also want to look into the American School Independent Study Division. Depending on the courses you need to take it can run $100 and up. You will need to get your school counselor to help you enroll in order to have the credit applied to their transcript.
The K12 program is free but TX only offers classes up to grade 9.
Add: I just learned about a program offered by Texas Tech University. They offer courses for grades 9 - 12 for $100 per .5 - unit. They also offer CBE (Credit by Exam) for $30 per exam.
