Question: Question about beginning to homeschool? Help please.?

My mom is intending to homeschool me next year. I'm in high school right now.

I was wondering, once the school committee aproves me for Homeschooling, will they send my mom necessary supplies such as books, lesson books, etc? My state laws require Arithmetic and Geography to be taught, for example. Will the school district/committee send my mom lesson books and text books to go along with the subjects?

Answer: No, they'll send you a letter that says "Ok, you can move forward with your plan."

It's up to you to have the plan, and that includes the books and where you're going to get them. They can tell you that you have to learn math, but you can pick Math U See or ALEKS or Life of Fred or whatever you want.
