Homeschooling

Question: I am moving to India, Can I do Homeschooling with the American curriculum?

I am studying in 10th grade in a public school in Virginia. At the end of the school year I would be moving to New Delhi, India. Can I take the American curriculum for my 11 and 12 grade and get homeschooled. After that I have plan to do interior designing in either Canada or USA. Please comment, Am I taking the right decision? I hav econtacted some schools which are accredited and can give me the study material and grade me from time to time and I would be in touch with them via email and phones. Do you know anybody who has done the Homeschooling, while being away from the USA. Your response would be highly appreciated.

Answer: Some times it depends on why you are out of the country. I know families who are out of the country for work, gov. jobs and church. They homeschool in our state through one of the on-line charter schools. They can do this because they still have homes here in this state. I also know some schools have distance learning programs for these kids.
