Question: Homeschool Diploma questions?
Hello,
I am home-schooled and my mother is going to issue me a home-school diploma herself. I have two questions.
1. Am I required to take a test to graduate from high school even though my Mom will issue me a diploma?
2. I am planning to apply for a law enforcement job after I get my diploma and then go onto the Academy. Do police departments in California accept a home-school diploma?

Answer: 1. If your Mom issues you a diploma, you WILL have graduated from high school.
You might want to consider taking the California High School Exit Exam http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/tg/hs/
2. Check with the academy of your choice.
