Question: Free online resources for Homeschooling - any good sites that do not involve paying for membership?
Being on an extremely tight budget we are looking for freely accessible sites from which to download and print excercises such as maths worksheets, reading comprehensions and all the other such regularly used stuff, including science worksheets and geography and history questions etc.
Answer: There are so many sites that will provide free items for Homeschooling; I will include a few we use, hopefully they will help you find what you are looking for.

I would like to include my most favorite sites, they used to be free, now they charge $20.00 per year for the use, but the sites have a vast amount of worksheets, and much more for all grades.
We use them regularly, and they provide a lot of information on the subjects as well.
You can check the site out for free, you just will not be able to print all of the materials until you are a member.

Question: How much Civics for Colorado HS senior?
Can anyone tell me a website or where I can find out the Civic requirement for my child who is a senior in High School? She currently goes to high school and college part time but I think the state of CO requires she has senior Civics. I can homeschool this, as we used to do in the past for her. How can I found out required hours for Colorado law?
Answer: The are not set by the state - but by your local education board - see http://www.cde.state.co.us/cdesped/download/pdf/FF-Diplomas.pdf
Good luck!!!
