Question: Can you please tell me WHAT Homeschool Programs do you use? VERY CONFUSED!?

Hi, WOW!
Who would ever of thought it would be so hard to decide on a good curriculum for home school!

This is our first year, my son is in 8th grade and I can not decide on what to get!

I have tried reading reviews, but still not sure what to do! I need something that is ORGANIZED, FUN, EDUCATIONAL, VARIETY if computer & workbooks !

I have been trying to find a program online like K12, but the more I read about it I don't like it! The courses are ll over the place ! PLUS its very costly ! The main reason is when I call them they have NO clue about there OWN classes!

Can someone PLEASE*PLEASE help me ! What is the best way to begin our Homeschooling!

Should I get separate materials or something that's all one program together?

Answer: We use K12 too, but it is free through your state's Board of Education. Go to their website and look for your state. If your state offers it, apply. All the books and materials for studying are supplied. The field trips can be more rewarding than what he can get in Brick-and-Mortar (BAM or B&M) schools. I have twin boys. I homeschool one and the other goes to BAM. I think K12 is superior to what the other twin is taking in BAM.
