Homeschool Curriculum Christian Preschool

Question: What is the difference between Abeka homeschool program and the Abeka Preschool Program?
Are the books different? I have a 4 year old in Christian school using the Abeka program, she just started so she is a little behind. I was wondering if I should purchase some of the home school books to help her get caught up with her class. I also have a 4th grader who is currently in public school. I'm really considering moving her to the Abeka curriculum as well, however I know she will struggle a bit until she gets caught up. What should I do to catch them up?
I guess to rephrase the question...What is the difference between the Abeka homeschool program and the actual Abeka Christian school Program?
Answer: Abeka is a Christian curriculum. The preschool program is pre-kindergarten, while the homeschool program goes up the grades. As far as I know, the books are the same, so anything you purchase should be the books they use at school. However, you want your 4 year old to like school, so don't pressure her too much. She's very young and needs to do work as she becomes ready for it. I wouldn't worry about catching her up although you might speak to the teacher about her strengths. With the older child, you need to speak to the teacher to find out what she needs to work on. There are lots of parent teacher stores and online resources to help you once you've found out.

Question: Homeschool science help?
I asked this question a few days ago but got no answers... Can anyone help me out with good ideas and sites relating to science for my ten year old? We are still waiting on his text book to get to the shop. We have begun with starting a vege patch and are going to document that etc, but I would really like some worksheets for him and maybe some fun experiments?? Also anything to do with Technology and Enterprise? I have bought him a Typing Tutor to begin with, but any other ideas/advice greatly appreciated.
Thanx Waiting..., not sure why you got a thumbs down, just wanted to let you know thanx for trying to help
