Computer Homeschool Programs

Question: Can you tell if your internet service has been capped?
Bout 2 weeks ago we set up new cable internet service. It has been running fine until today. I have done everything possible (update software, clear cache, remove old programs, etc). We even added new memory to the computer, so thats not it. But today it has been running really slow, esp when my son plays World of Warcrack. I am wondering because my son and I are both home all day (homeschool & disabled) and we use the computer ALOT. So is there any way to know if our ISP has capped us? If not, I would love any other suggestions.
Answer: Depends what your ISP is. If it is capped, they should send you an email or you can check online on their website --> your account. If isn't capped and is still slow, try the following:
- Use Mozilla Firefox as a browser
- Download CCleaner to clear junk you don't need
- Maybe the internet plan is a bit too low, try upgrading.
- Closing any background processes using the internet e.g. Torrents
Hope this helped
