Question: What should i do if i decide to homeschool?
im in high school now, going to homeschool soon.
ive already taken algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, biology, english 1, 2 and 3. world history, civics, and us history, earth & environmental science, physical science and biology.
next semester i was suppose to take pre calculus, i guess the Homeschooling(american school of corr) doesn't have the class i was planning on taking, pre calculus. am i allowed to go to a local college and take the SAT OR ACT test and take some college courses there, so when i go to a university i wont have much to finish.
i wanted to take courses at a local college and do Homeschooling at the same time. Will it still be free? or will i have to pay since i will be homeschooled?
i want to go to a 4 yr university, but do basics in local college cuz i heard it was free, idk if it works like that for homeschoolers too.
Answer: Each state has different laws about education. So, you'll need to ask this specifying the state.
In my state, FL, state law allows homeschoolers and public schoolers to both take dual-enrollment classes (ones that count towards high school graduation and college at the same time) tuition-free (they still have to pay for books and some fees). But not every state allows that...
