Ontario Homeschooling Laws

Question: Homeschooling in Ontario?
I am going into grade 11 and I would like to be home schooled as I learn more on my own schedule and absorb more when I work independently. I do have a few questions, I am interested in becoming a lawyer- corporate law to be specific.
Can I still go to university for law if I am home schooled?
My mom will not be able to teach me, therefore, is it possible to take online courses?
I have thought about going to the U.S. for schooling in the future and am aware that I must take my SATs and I know that they have courses to prepare for them which I am able to attend if I wanted to...
Does Homeschooling affect the chance of being accepted to universities?
Thank you SO much in advance!
Answer: Anything is possible! Why not? In fact, I bet what would make a good entrance essay (for University, I'm talking about) would be how Homeschooling made you a better person, I would think! So go ahead, but remember, Homeschooling on your own requires a lot of will power and organization, so I'm hoping that you do reconsider everything. In addition, seeing as you're going into your junior year, it might be a tad too late to switch things up a bit now. No, no, you can still do it if you want to, but it might be harder to adjust with things like college applications and standardized testing banging outside your door (figuratively speaking of course). So, if you still want to try out the waters, jump in! No one's holding you back. Make your own dreams, and live it!
I wish you the best of luck,
Sincerely,
Dracula
EDIT: I found a link which you might find interesting (I've put it in the sources box) and it says that around 30% of college applicants are homeschoolers!

Question: Question about Homeschool Curriculum. Help please.?
In my state laws, it says that homeschoolers are required to be taught 'civics'.
Is civics just a fancy word for history..? or..what is civics?
Help please?
Answer: No, civics in not history.
Civics: The study of the rights and responsibilities of a citizen.
Civics is often covered in a government class, but there are also independent curricula available.
