Question: Portfolios?
What do you personally add to your child's portfolio as the school year progresses in your homeschool? How do you set it up? Pictures? scrapbook style? All text?
Looking for ideas...
Answer: My mom had a box... and it filled up quickly. Its now stored in the garage.
My mom had another box... and it filled up quickly. Its now stored in the garage.
and another... and it filled up quickly. Its now stored in the den (basically the garage filled up).
My point is... My mom never threw away anything... and she hasn't regreted it. She goes back and looks at our work sometimes (and embarasses us with it). Her main reason for keeping it was that she was worried about laws changing for highschool graduating and some sort of record or audit being required.
