Question: on the go Homeschooling?

My husband and I are seriously thinking about taking a year or two to travel and see the country, with our two girls (in a year or so) Has anyone traveled and homeschooled? Any suggestions on good curric. that is easy to pack up and go with? We have so many different books and such now that it would fill up our trunk! (LOL) And, what about residency? Since we still own our home in Maine, we would still just follow Maine homeschool law, even though we were out of the state for a few years?

Answer: Look in yahoo groups for a group called families on the road (fotr) which is exactly that: families full-timing in an RV and Homeschooling. We plan on doing that in the near future. We have the RV and have taken some trips, but want to take an extended trip. My kids are already homeschooled.
