Question: if i comply with my states Homeschooling law at the soonest when can i decide i can graduate?
im from illinois so that means
in other words; how short can homeschool be?
im 17 years old and plan to transfer out of highschool into homeschool in about a month.
Answer: When a parent decides that you are ready to graduate, you can graduate (in most states--always check your state law).
If you graduate at an age that's younger than the compulsory education laws (an age where you are still required to be in school), that's okay as long as you are then entering college or technical school.
Most homeschool parents wait until their child has earned enough credits (studied enough) to go to college, even if they aren't going right away.
