Question: Questions about Homeschooling in Ohio?
Hello there. i have some questions about Homeschooling in Ohio. i am in the 9th grade currently and i want to be home-schooled the next few years. My dad is seriously considering this, and so am i. the whole school thing and i just don't get along. so i was wondering if anyone could answer my questions(:
- are there any requirements for my dad to home school me?
- what is the best program/programs for home schoolers?
- the best online courses (free or little money?)
-is it harder or easier?
- what i would have to do for gym, art, etc...
- laws about Homeschooling?
even if you can only answer one of these, it would help a lot!

Answer: well i live in columbus ohio, and i got enrolled in connections Academy 4 months ago( i'm a junior). Reason being because a very close friend of mine died and other depression issues i went through before that. So i got pretty behind and thought, what the hell, i should just be home schooled. I took care of all my primary classes and i got very good grades now. But it sux because it's weird not having any friends around except ,after their school is over, i hang out with them. So i kinda felt socially isolated at first because it gives u a lot of free time so u might get bored. But i just hang out with my friends when they get out of their school. But yea i like it.
