Homeschooling Software For Mac
![]() |

Question: When I load a CD on Mac laptop in order to access software from Homeschooling site, I get error message- WHY?
Instead of automatically downloading, like it's supposed to do, I only get the icon for the CD after I load it into the MacBook. I click on the icon, and then the setup icon inside the main folder, and then I get this error message: "The/Library/Fonts directory is not writeable. Check the permissions of this directory. Ownership should be root: admin and permissions 775." What does this mean and how do I correct it, so I can install the software to access the Homeschooling site? Is there something in my laptop that is blocking installation, that I need to turn off? I know there is no problem with the CD, as the company has already sent me a replacement in case that was the problem, and the replacement didn't change anything. Any help would be appreciated.
Answer: i am still new to the whole "mac experience" however, i highly suggest u go to www.apple.com/discussions and post ur question there...they are WONDERFUL there and will provide an answer ASAP
