Question: American School Homeschooling Program?
Okay I want to get homechooled for my junior and senior year through American School. I went to my counselor at my school and she told me im missing credits in two classes so since I told her I didn't want to go to night school or summer school i told her I wanted to just make up my credits through American School so she gave me an enrollment form from American School that says independent study correspondence and I have another from I downloaded and printed out from the American school webite, which one should I fill out because I want to get homeschooled not just make up my credits
Answer: The American School is an accredited school offering high school levels like in a walk in school. The difference is that you are doing the school work at home and mailing it back to the school so it can be graded and your understanding being accessed. That means that if you need specific courses to make up your credits you can take them while taking the next level/year of high school. It is called distance learning because you are doing the work at home and mailing it in for the teachers to check and grade. You will get a report card and the credits will transfer to the university or college you decide to attend. You will also get a diploma and you won't have to take the GED to prove you went to school. It's a good program.
