Homeschooling

Question: It is possible to homeschool a class in the summer and have it counted as "summerschool"?

I was in a online school and need to make up the second semester of a math class to graduate. Is it possible for me to do the work at home (I've been home schooled off and on for years) and have it count as a homeschool earned summerschool course? Does it depend on the state?!
