Question: What trigonometry textbook did you use for homeschool highschool?
I'm a homeschooled student going into 10th grade next year, and I'll be studying Trigonometry. Could you tell me about your experience with a certain textbook, and possibly refer one? Maybe even a source to narrow my search and find the right textbook for me. I will be studying independently. Math is one of my worse subjects, so a book that is very thorough yet clear and understandable, with a good bit of work(math problems) with solutions, plus quizzes would be really helpful. I've already studied Algebra 1, 2, and Geometry. I will be taking Trig throughout the whole year(two semesters.) I would appreciate any advice on this topic!
I won't be able to take classes at the community college until my junior and senior year(11th and 12th.)
Answer: Google Teaching Textbooks and see if they have anything that will work for you, or call your community college and ask if an exception can be made. I've known homeschoolers who started community college in ninth grade, so you could be thinking about the rules for public schoolers only.
